Hallo,
since Creo Parametric (my version is 2.0 M110) does not provide an immediate 3d modeling of fillet welds, necessary to calculate them properly in Simulate, I would like to make a flexible component representing the fillet weld, modeled with a sweep, with its trajectory following the contour of the component to weld.
I am wondering whether there is the possibility to set the flexibility to the trajectory so as to choose it directly with a chain line when assemblying the fillet weld.
I hope my question is clear, I enclose a print of my screen with the fillet weld assembled. In this case I used flexibility on all of the corner angles and the lengths of the straight sections, but this way it's quite long to set up each time and furthermore if I want to insert the curved section (the round on the plate in the figure) I lose much of the universality of this flexible fillet...
