Creo Elements Direct Express 4 activation?

I have been using the free download version of Creo Elements Direct 4. Today it will not open the program because it requires an internet connection / cannot automatically identify my proxy connection. When I try to get an activation code I get an internet connection error message. Is any one else having this problem?
